Promises to live by #yearintheword

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature.—2 Peter 1:2-4

We have been given promises to live by. Promises that release God’s grace into your life. Promises that bring peace into your life. Remember when the Bible speaks of peace it is dealing with the whole person. Peace means wholeness, nothing missing or broken, full provision for every need in your life, prosperity through and through. Promises also release God’s Spirit in our life’s to develop and build character and possess power over every temptation.

Find the promise that covers your need and fill your heart with it! A great tool that worked for me as a new believer were the book series entitled, “Prayers that avail much.” I would catalog scriptures that brought a sense of peace and strength to my heart until I had a working vocabulary of promises that I could quote from my heart. Scripture memory is a great thing! Many have told me that it is too difficult. But it is not if you rely on the Holy Spirit, He will bring to your remembrance all truth.

There is power in every promise to change your life! Remember to give place to God’s promises every day. Get an “in Him” mini book by Kenneth Hagin and begin to commit those scriptures listed in that book into your heart until it is a regular daily confession of yours and you will see God’s power, provision, peace, and prosperity begin to flow in your life!
