One of the great promises of the Christian faith is the resurrection. There is also tied to this great promise a coming translation or rapture of believers in Jesus. There is a generation that will not experience physical death. Are we that generation? The rapture of believers will take place in an instant and will be a shock to the world.
Has anything like this happened before? Yes of course, Enoch was raptured, Elijah the prophet was raptured, and of course Jesus was raptured after His resurrection. It is I think the most incredible promise given to a generation like ours. Many more today are mocking the idea that in an instant millions of born again believers in Jesus will vanish. Gone in a nano second!
Before Jesus comes to set up His millennial reign upon the earth from Jerusalem, Israel, He will come for e church. The rapture of the church takes place before a seven year period of time known as Jacob’s trouble. A time when God is going to fully restore the nation of Israel to faith in Jesus! Immediately following the rapture comes the judgment seat of Christ where believers of all generations will be rewarded for their works. Today is an exciting day to be alive! When we examine the signs we can conclude with certainty that we maybe the generation that cheats death! Wow, what a possibility!
