God wants you to prosper
Prosperity—successful, flourishing condition, especially in financial aspects; good fortune–“above all things!”—3 John 2
Worldly prosperity costs you sorrow and regret, your relationship with God and others, your peace of mind and even your health—Proverbs 10:22
God is intrinsically good and benevolent!
He is faithful…
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips—Psalms 89:34
He is merciful…
And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and showest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts—2 Chronicles 6:14
He cannot lie…
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? —Numbers 23:19
He makes good on His promises…
Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant—1 Kings 8:56
He gives good things!
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. –James 1:17
