Jesus Christ is the rock of our salvation! When He asked Peter, “who do men say I am?” Peter responded, “You are the promised Christ the Son of God.” Jesus said, “Upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” That rock Jesus referred to was the revelation that Peter from the Father.
The revelation of the mystery given to the Apostle Paul is the heart of the New Testament. It is the revelation of who you have become through the new birth. When you discover that you are righteous, a son of the Most High, accepted by the Father, God’s beloved you become established in His love. You become immovable, resolute and the enemy can not defeat you.
The scriptures are also prophetic in nature. If you build your life on the scriptures and allow them to become a personal revelation to you they will declare your future. God will establish your life and bring to pass everything He has revealed to you through the scriptures if you will stand on the rock of revelation. Christ is the rock I stand upon, everything else is sinking sand!
