I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!'”—Revelation 19:6-9
The marriage feast is about to begin as the 21 judgments of Revelation have been completed. The Saints are praising God, for the kingdom of God on the earth is about to begin. The heavens open and The Lord Jesus descends with the armies of heaven—the angelic forces and the Saints, the redeemed of all ages.
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.—Revelation 19:11-16
Jesus, the King of kings and The Lord of lords will usher in a millennium of peace on earth. His peace is what the world so desperately needs to day. Shalom, God’s peace means rest, safety, inner well being, happiness, health and prosperity. Jesus came 2000 years ago that we might know true peace in our hearts when we make Him Lord. Shalom will be enforced in the earth for 1000 years, God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, And King David concerning the land of Israel and an eternal throne in Jerusalem will be fulfilled. The nations will live in peace and make their pilgrimage each year to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover and Tabernacles. And we will reign with Christ in our new glorified bodies!
