The Revelation

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.—Revelation 1:3,19

The book of Revelation has always been a book shrouded in mystery but if one is a student of the scriptures he/she can unlock the secrets of the book and be blessed with a supernatural hope for the future. It presents the outcome of our faith as Christians that Jesus will come and set up His kingdom and fulfill His good promises to the Nation of Israel. One thing that truly sets the Bible apart from any other book is the Prophecies written over a span of some 1500 years of which many have come to past with amazing precision. We are living in a time when the final prophecies are about to be fulfilled!

John received the vision from the exalted and risen Christ. He tries to depict His encounter with Jesus in the first chapter. When I read of his account I can only imagine what it will be like to see my Jesus face to face in a new glorified body. But just as John had an encounter with Jesus so too will we! We shall see…

“One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.”—Revelation 1:13-16

When he comes He will be bringing His reward so let’s live life to the fullest purposing to please The Lord and do his will! We will be looking into eyes of liquid love! The one who died for us is coming to claim His possession—the church!
