Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus… Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful… Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.—Hebrews 10:19,23,35
The book of Hebrews magnifies the sacrifice Jesus made and the high priestly ministry that Jesus is performing on our behalf. Jesus sacrifice is all that we need to gain access to the Father and appropriate all the promises He has for us. Because of these great truths—the sinless blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus given to the Church, and better promises the Old Testament Saints did not experience—we can boldly come to the Father when we pray.
We are encouraged to be bold, to approach God the Father in Jesus name with boldness! The Father likes it when we come boldly to Him because it honors the name of His Son Jesus. Bold praying honors God! Bold praying expects an answer! We are also encouraged to hold fast to our confession. When we pray and believe that we receive we must continue to believe when we face our circumstance. The best way to do that is to maintain praise and thanksgiving in your life for what you have petitioned God for.
Don’t throw away your confidence because circumstances are contradictory to your prayers. Stay in the fight, don’t give up! Keep praising God for his faithfulness and you will get stronger. Walk out God’s plan and He will not disappoint you. You will receive if you endure and not give up! Don’t ever give up!
