But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted-you may well put up with it!—2 Corinthians 11:3-4
How do you keep life simple? Keep it real and authentic. Did you know that Jesus taught us to keep it simple? The word simplicity comes from the word “dis·sim·u·late” which means to hide something by pretense: to disguise or hide true feelings, thoughts, or intentions. When we are in fellowship with Christ His light exposes the hidden things of the heart.
When we live a sincere and transparent life with God and others life becomes much simpler. We don’t have to prove anything to anybody because we know who we are and to whom we belong. We are secure in God’s love knowing He accepts us as His sons. If you want to go deep with God and enjoy the richness of your heritage in God you must first be real with God. To many today are playing church and are really missing out on the deep things of God.
Keep your life simple! Your greatest love, passion and priority should be Jesus, His Word, and people. When He is on the throne of your heart and you follow the plan He has ordained for you life truly becomes an adventure and a joy to you and everyone you touch. Remember to keep it simple!
