Love’s disposition! #yearintheword

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.—1 Corinthians 13:4-7

How can you succeed in every relationship? By taking the path of love. It is God’s royal command! Love is the higher way, the better way. God’s love has been born in our hearts the moment we made Him Lord of our lives. The most important lesson for a Christian to learn is walking in love is not an option but a command.

Is your disposition toward others one of love? You can measure yourself against this scripture by putting your name in the place of love. Confess over yourself, “I am patient and kind, I am not arrogant or rude, I am not self seeking and I am not easily angered. My thought life is pure because I choose the way of love. I rejoice in truth and fairness. I believe the best of every person. I am optimistic and quick to believe things will work out because I choose the way of love!”

If you want great friends, a great marriage, a great family, and a good reputation then love is not an option but an absolute necessity. Our God is love and we are His children, a product of love. Even with the most abrasive people we can show love. Let His love shine through you today! Staying in the sphere of love is where miracles and provision can happen for you!
