With the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.—Romans 10:10-13
The entire world has Favor with God! He is not mad at anybody because He sent Jesus as payment for the sins of the world. If God is mad at the world then He does not respect the sacrifice of His own Son’s death. Think about it. One simply has to believe with the heart and confess that Jesus is Lord in order to receive God’s favor.
So the onus is on us as Christians to share the good news to every person (both Jew and Gentile) that we are in relationship with. Next time your having a cup of coffee with a friend, acquaintance or co-worker say, “Do you know that you have special favor with God?” That is a good opener that should raise a few eye brows. Then proceed to tell the wonderful story of what Jesus did for them and how simple it is to receive from God. Let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
Whoever calls on Jesus will be saved! The time is short Jesus is coming soon! The signs of the tribulation hour are upon us! Let’s have a sense if urgency to tell our world that they have special favor with God!
