Knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. (1 Thessalonians 1:4-5)
The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is not just a message but a demonstration of God’s power to save, heal, deliver and set captives free! The good news that Jesus took our place and became sin for us so that we could step into a place united with Him, a place of being in Him is backed up by the reality of His power.
When you believe the message, specifically what God did for you through the substitutionary work of Jesus Christ on that old rugged cross 2000 years ago, you access God’s wonderful grace, “power beyond your ability” as my Pastor says to live a victorious overcoming life over sin, sickness, and disease.
Whom God calls he equips with His grace, a power beyond your ability. I trust that you are placing your faith in God’s power and not your own ability. Begin reading the Epistles of Paul and discover your place in Him and access that power. God has called you and equipped you to finish strong!
