IN CHRIST I AM CONFESSIONS
In Christ I am a new man…
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. -2 Corinthians 5:17
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor un-circumcision avails anything, but a new creation. -Galatians 6:15
In Christ I am crucified to the world…
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. -Galatians 2:20
Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. -Romans 6:6
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. -Galatians 6:14
In Christ I am dead to sin and alive unto God…
Buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. -Colossians 2:12
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. -Romans 6:4
Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved. -Ephesians 2:5
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the un-circumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses. -Colossians 2:13
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. -Colossians 3:1-3
In Christ I am more than a conqueror…
Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Yet in all these things (tests & trials) we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. -Romans 8:30-31,37
In Christ I am redeemed from sickness, poverty, and spiritual death…
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. -Galatians 3:13-14
With His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. -Hebrews 9:12
In Christ I am forgiven…
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. -Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. -Colossians 1:14
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. -Romans 8:1
In Christ I am reconciled to God…
And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. -Romans 5:11
In Christ I am righteous…
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. -2 Corinthians 5:21
I count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith. -Philippians 3:8-9
For if because of one man’s trespass lapse, offense—death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace unmerited favor—and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One). -Romans 5:17AMP
In Christ I am justified…
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. -Romans 3:24
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. -Romans 5:9
That having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. -Titus 3:7
In Christ I am called into fellowship and sanctified…
To those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. -1 Corinthians 1:2-3
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. -1 Corinthians 1:9
In Christ I am blessed, empowered to win…
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, -Ephesians 1:3
In Christ I am chosen…
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, -Ephesians 1:4
In Christ I am accepted…
He made us accepted in the Beloved. -Ephesians 1:6
In Christ I am joint-heir and partaker of promises…
and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. -Romans 8:17
That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, -Ephesians 3:6
In Christ I am rooted and established…
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. -Colossians 2:6-7
In Christ I am God’s craftsmanship…
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. -Ephesians 2:10
In Christ I am complete, lacking nothing…
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. -Colossians 2:9-10
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. -Hebrews 13:20-21
In Christ I am united in love with believers…
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. -Romans 12:5
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. -Galatians 3:28
In Christ I am in Covenant relationship…
Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your seed,” who is Christ. And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. -Galatians 3:16-17
IN CHRIST I HAVE CONFESSIONS
In Christ I have assurance…
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us–by me, Silvanus, and Timothy–was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. -2 Corinthians 1:19-20
In Christ I have deliverance…
Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us. -2 Corinthians 1:10
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. -2 Corinthians 2:14
In Christ I have revelation…
But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains un-lifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. -2 Corinthians 3:14
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. -1 Corinthians 2:10
In Christ I have strength in weakness…
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, -Ephesians 3:16
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. -Ephesians 6:10
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. -Philippians 4:13
In Christ I have an inheritance…
In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage portion—and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained chosen and appointed beforehand—in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will. – Ephesians 1:11AMP
In Christ I have authority…
and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, -Ephesians 2:6
In Christ I have access to the throne…
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. -Ephesians 2:13
For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. -Ephesians 2:18
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. -Hebrews 4:14
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:15-16
In Christ I have favor…
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. -Romans 5:2
In Christ I have boldness and confidence…
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. -Ephesians 3:12
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. -1 John 5:14
In Christ I have wisdom and knowledge…
in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. -Colossians 2:3
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God–and righteousness and sanctification and redemption– -1 Corinthians 1:30
You were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, -1 Corinthians 1:5
In Christ I have life more abundant…
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus—(I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.) -2 Timothy 1:1
In Christ I have grace, power beyond my ability…
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, -2 Timothy 1:9
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. -2 Timothy 2:1
In Christ I have the Spirit working in me…
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. -Titus 3:5-6
In Christ I have a company of believers…
in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. -Ephesians 2:21-22
In Christ I have a ministry of reconciliation…
that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. -2 Corinthians 5:19
In Christ I have deliverance…
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. -Romans 5:9-10
In Christ I have everything I need…
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? -Romans 8:32
In Christ I have a blessed hope and future…
And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. -1 Corinthians 6:14
This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. -2 Timothy 2:11-12
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. -Colossians 3:4
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. -1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. -1 Corinthians 15:22
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. -Romans 8:11
